No, I don’t think so.
Unfortunately, there’s no good way to tell you where the last lousy clue is, not unless you provide a list of clues you have found…

I had a similar issue and asked Ryan about it. There are precisely 50 clues kept off-stage but there are more than 50 places that are capable of spawning them.
So what likely happened was at some point earlier in the game you spawned a clue but didn’t actually take it and it’s sitting there waiting for you.
Edit: I should just quote exactly what Ryan said:
There are 50 clues. There are like 65 (I think?) locations that can produce clues, but once you have all 50 clues you can’t produce any more.
I think the number is 56, but yeah, that’s what happened to me. I forgot to GET CLUE after finding a clue at one point, and once 50 have been spawned (but not necessarily collected), the game won’t spawn any more.
I’m afraid you just have to look at every room until you find the right one.
I found the clue!
It was in the champagne bucket. I don’t know how I missed it.
I’ve written a table of all the clues in “Ryan Veeder’s Agatha Christie’s the Murder on the Orient Express”.
I just finished the first Little Match Girl game for the first time. now I wonder if there will be a crossover between that series and Poirot.
