Office Midnight Horror IF looking for testers!

Hi! :waving_hand:
I have been writing a new IF. This time, for the first time, with PunyInform. At first has been a bit of a challenge, but finally I found it’s a really clean and powerful language!

Now I think I fixed anything I can on my own, and I’d appreciate an external eye.

This is an IF with a standard parser (including as much synonyms as I could think of).
It’s office reletad, and it’s my way of writing a liminal-spaces inspired horror story.

I can see AI is still a divisive point for many of us, so this time I decided to use no kind of AI for any text in game. I hope that resulted in an authentic tone, and hopefully not a grammar nightmare, but I felt confident trying after the feedbacks I received last year.

Any test is welcome, I’m not looking for a committed play to the end of game, any partial transcript will help me fixing the game, so any “I can try the game for 5 minutes” it’s more than welcome. :sun_with_face:

The game has an internal hints system, and I’m also working to an hand-drawn guide/lore book with progressive spoiler.

Hope someone wants to try it!:sparkles:

Hi! I can’t get to it until next week, but I’d be happy to look at it. Feel free to send it over

If you’d like someone to look over it with a focus on grammar, I’m happy to help—I’m an editor. (Although based on your post I think you’re likely doing fine!)

I’m happy to try it! Since it’s PunyInform I assume any z3/5/8 interpreter will work?

Thanks,

Thank you very much you all for the support, I already found enough volunteers for a first round of testing! :two_hearts:

That’s cool! I’m not in a rush, and I can probably fix something on the meantime. :sparkles:

Ahahah much too kind of yours! :sun_with_face:
Hope you won’t change your mind.

Yes, I exported it as a z8 file (which I tested on Frotz)!
