Looking for Mac VoiceOver users to test Zork Zero in Spatterlight

EDIT: The test version linked below was updated.

A test version of Spatterlight with experimental Zork Zero support can be downloaded here:

I’ve added an option to skip the graphical puzzles (Tower of Bozbar, Peggleboz, Double Fanucci, Snarfem) that fires at the start of the puzzles when VoiceOver is active.

The rebus is a graphical puzzle that can’t be meaningfully skipped, and there is not much to add to what is already in the room description and in the built-in InvisiClues (HINTS – GREAT HALL AREA – reading the rebus.)

Full disclosure: I have recently become addicted to AI, so by helping out with this project, you will indirectly support AI (Anthropic) as well.

My Mac has decided to throw some kind of conniption around user authentication, but I would absolutely love to have a look at this once I sort that out.

Thanks! I hope your Mac gets better soon.

I forgot to mention above: There is a new Scrollback limit setting under Details. If it is set to a very high value or 0 (unlimited), some parts of Zork Zero may become sluggish after a long session (because it has to do a lot of layout to keep all the margin images in place.)
