It seems the sky is bright and shine. I mean that there is no more work travels for me in the horizont. That said I expect to write some reviews starting for some amazing games I have tested alone or via IFMUD.
First Game I have to congratulate is Dead in StormRider. If you like initial exploration, NPCs wandering all over the map living their lives and doong their tasks and puzzles based in investigation and interactions with NPCs plots, that IS your game.
Tricks of light in the forest is one of this year’s Game from a Spanish authors: Pseudavid.
This is an inmersive, disturbing, lovely Game about a child’s stroll in some forest. At the end we Will see what IS the lesson about the Game and our actual world.
This Game really worths a try. It has been improved a lot last days to do a jewel.
Antony & Cleopatra: Case IV: The Murder of Marlon Brando.
This Game I tested sometime ago is another good try of creating a multiplayer Game
Every IFcomp has it’s own multiplayer Game. I LOVE this genre.
This time we have to investigate a murder in a odd enviroment. The Game IS very inmersive. The title itself is suggestive.
I think this is a game that deffinitly worths a try.
I got impressed after playing Assembly ast Sunday in IFMUD.
This Game seems to be simple untill you start playing It, discovering an inmersive Lore while solving some casual cotidianity puzzles. Nothing that everyone has seen in their lives, as a bulb, but the Game still let’s a lot of space for imagination. The simple, the BEST. I am engineer and love this Game a lot…
Yes, I have tested some games last months for this comp. This is another one…Dr Ludwig and the Devil, or so. But this is an amazing Game, full of Lore. The story is a full plots with a todo listo, where we interact with some very well characterized NPCs. The story is so good that sometimes you Will get twisted thought all the time you know what to do and the puzzles result easy ones at the end.
As all the games above I think this Game also worths a try.
Here there is another Game played in IFMUD.
One King to Loot them All is a game which Will inmerse every adventureer in a world full of Lore. I don’t want to spoiler but this Game has some plots unseen before. The commands used in the Game aren’t the usual ones which lend me to expand mu english.
I have to say that I enjoyed playing a lot.
I think this Game is a good Sort of entertainment.
If you like the games that dig into the interactions between couples, that IS your game.
I liked the Game very much when I tested this title, despiste my english level. There are a lot of Deep conversations, of course, due to the cult protagonists.
Bright Brave Knight Knave is a wordish, babelish game for all these player which don’t speaks natively english as a result of puzzles are based in pairing words by his sound.
I played (more or less) in a IFMUD testing session and all the participants enjoyed the game. They played more than a half of the game, so I trust them and since here want to encourage to give the game a try.
I have a lot of troubles guessing what game I would like to play or what temathic game I could be interesing in.
I have readed the descriptions and reviews available, but on the contrary to previous comps, I can’t figure out what games could work for me.
By the way, I have been playinf The Ship for a while and I have enjoyed it a lot. Even though I think that I have choose this one suggested by last year “The Kuolema”, I can say that this game has the flavour that I like. Interaction with NPCs, a solid story and some exploration.
The game is a choose type one, but with an inventory in game. It has some role playing features as a meter for your relationship with NPCs, which you will change due to your actions.
Definitively a good game about ships, interesting and with chapters.
P.D. I have played, using the auto-translate feature to spanish of Chrome, in my tablet with no issues.
All the hands.
A short game, well implemented with a nice history in it.
In order to play you have to pick and roll any of the 3 lower boxes into the text, on some remarked red word. This is an easy scheme to play in a phone due to it’s small screen.
Yes, I have enjoyed the game and replayed it threece.
20 Exchange Place
An ink game. I have played it more than 30 times, this is a short game, finding 3 bad different endings. I suppose there must be a good one but I haven’t been able of finding it.
More than 30 times due to the engaging nature of the game… this really worths a try. I bet you to find that good ending and post it here!
All the Troubles Come My Way
Definitively a good twisted choices short game where you have to find and get back your hat. Any decision is about your four capacities as a West cowboy. Interesting game about dreams and searches.
I am getting a funny afternoon by now. This game made me laugh for a while. You can play it several times to explore some different weird endings. The game has vivid descriptions of the environment. A fresh breeze in my face.
Following the list of shortest games I have found a couple that doesn’t run in Chrome so lastly I went to…
Into The Lion’s Mouth.
This is a simulation where you find yourself alone and frightened in Serengetti savannah. This has some flashback developing the game furthermore and doing it fully replayable. As a short choice game has a little story to explore.
Lonehouse
A game about grief and sorrow that takes place where we are examining a and interacting with the belongings of our deceased sister. Emotive, sensible game with a texture interface that I liked. This game is like a short novel where we can interact with the items and feelings.
The Sculptor
Playing this short games brings me a sensation as viewing a film while eating popcorn. This is a game which evokes our last days in life where we realize that we haven’t got any important or relevant goal. And if we get it at the end, we can’t let it go, embracing it till the end. A mirror where many of us can see our own reflection.
This is the last “lunchtime game” that actually I can play: We All Fall Together.
Surreal is a few condescending. In this game we interact with some people. All of us are falling inside a hurricane to the earth, while talking between us. An interesting short, odd game. It also deserves a try.
Eat the Eldritch is just another game I tested in IFMud.
An interesting history based partially in Cthultu lore, with some cool puzzles and one of the 4 or 5 games with ship directions in this comp.
The story so far is inmersive due to the great plot and the polished descriptions. If you like Lovecraft concepts, you definetely have to give it a try.
All Hands Abandon Ship
This is the first inform game I play alone. This is not a lunchtime game, this is rather an exploration big game and is another ship directions one.
I like exploring houses, cities, caves, ships… all you can figure out, so I liked this game.
I haven’t finished it after an hour of exploration and drawing a map.
If you like exploration parser games, this one worth s a try.
