I’m going to be tackling some longer parser games soon. And especially Milliways - I’m a huge Hitchhikers fan. Will review as always.

Every entry has now 3 reviews each

I’m super excited! Since mine actually technically has the lowest amount of reviews, even though REALLY I’m tied with Citizen Makane. (Plus, I hope you’ve played the first game, as apparently it’s necessary.)

Just as a note: I put a link to baf’s current review in under ‘baf’. I mention this because it could have also gone under ‘Carl’ or ‘The Stack’.

I am not done updating the Excel sheet just yet but…

6OO public!

The median is now at 11 total, 9 public. We keep chipping away. Public reviews are at a whopping 5.5 times of private, well above previous years.

Any Windows users out there willing to give Hawkstone a little more love? I tried loading it through Wine on my Mac, but couldn’t get it to work.

Looks like we’re over 800 total reviews! That’s already more reviews than we saw in 2021, and we’re well on track to beat 2022’s total of 836 since we’re not even 2/3 of the way through the Comp yet.

It’s nine away on my queue, so will get there eventually…

With 839 reviews, we have surpassed last year’s total of 836. I think this is probably due to the surprisingly high number of first time reviewers including myself. I’m already down to my final 4 games!

Update: Ever since we started tracking forum reviews in 2019, IFComp 2023 has the second highest number of reviews, behind 2020, but that had a record 103 entries.

Have we been tracking the little reviews in this thread?

(I did a vanity search on my game’s title. :relieved: I’ve finally learned to choose titles where that works!)
