That was educational. That channel is new to me.
I remember the old indoor model, although smaller version of it. I also remember we used candles as well. We stopped using them when we got electricity.
I too am fascinated by oil lamps. I have one tubular lantern that was made by Dietz sometime before 1955. It’s a #1 Little Wizard, a model that’s still made today. Unfortunately, the lovely thick globes are no longer made.
