Building inform7 for gnome on a Fedora-based system

This is probably a Painfully Naive {Tm} question, but does anyone have any experience in building Mr. Chimento’s inform7 for gnome IDE on a Fedora-based system? His git site has nicely detailed lists of dependencies for an Ubuntu-based system using apt-get and Ubuntu repositories, but I find it difficult to work out the “translation” to equivalent packages in Fedora repositories. If tha’ follow me.

Would appreciate some guidance.

Okay, nevermind. A probably incomplete list of dependencies in Fedora-speak includes:

  • gtksourceview4 gtksourceview4-devel
  • gspell gspell-devel
  • goocanvas2 goocanvas2-devel
  • webkit2gtk3 webkit2gtk3-devel
  • libplist libplist-devel
  • gstreamer1-plugins-base gstreamer1-plugins-base-devel gstreamer1-plugins-good gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free-extras

Not all of the gstreamers are necessarily used and there are likely other more common dependencies that I didn’t notice because I’d already installed them. The one obvious thing that can confuse people is that the original project notes call for libwebkit2gtk-4.0-dev, but this apparently is satisfied in Fedora repositories by: webkit2gtk3-devel.

For anyone who’s interested.
