As we say in Italy, “gli ultimi giorni/ore sono sempre più lunghe”, I have a nifty little idea, a tiny parser IF, written in few days, which I hope allow unwinding and relax to IFComp authors and a little warm-up for judges & reviewiers.
It’s written in Inform 6/standard library and is very tiny, 8 rooms and two and half puzzles, and rated “merciful”.
What perhaps is the most interesting feature, in trying to minimise my proverbial bad english, I have limited rooms & object descriptions to 1-4 80 column lines (~80-300 characters) aside the opening and ending text, which are around 10-12 lines (~1k characters) and can be solved in ~20-25 moves.
of course, for keeping my little surprise, and knowing that everyone else is busy with the 'Comp, there was no ßtesting, so I apologise for possible bugs and/or inconsistencies.
Without further ado, here is:
heispy.z5 (67.5 KB)
(of course, later I’ll upload it in the IFArchive)
hope that my little present will be welcome, and
Best regards from Italy,
dott. Piergiorgio.
