Where to reliably find new releases of games?

There are a few places I visit every day to see if there are new releases, but there are tons of places I don’t check. For instance, I don’t follow every single IF author on itch.io to get notified of when they release a new game or a new version. I don’t necessarily check every new entry on IFDB because there’s stuff that I know doesn’t interest me, and anyway, sometimes updates are not really reflected there, not that I see.

It would behoove me to go to the right places, as opposed to, say, bugging the authors to post about their updates. They probably are doing that; in their blogs, in their itch.io pages. Just not necessarily in a centralised place.

What places should I check daily to be kept up-tp-date on new releases? Currently, for IF (I’m checking others as well) I’m checking these daily:

Is there somewhere else I should be checking? For instance, I just realised I’d missed an update of a SpringThing game. Are there announcements for SpringThing game updates?

On the Spring Thing website, there is a file that includes a changelog of the games as they’re updated. I just forget about it every year. I’ll go update it now!

Just dropping a note to say that I’ve been noticing the list is updating as games update, and I really, really appreciate it. Thank you very much. <3
