Where to post testing/feedback requests for things other than the game itself

For my WIP I’m also designing a bunch of print-and-make feelies along with web-based I guess you’d call them virtual versions of the feelies, as well as documentation that’s presented as if it’s scanned physical documentation.

This involves a lot of active content in the various webpages, and I’d be interested in soliciting feedback to identify problems with browser compatibility and that kind of thing.

Specifically I’ve currently got a virtual code wheel kind of thing that I think is working correctly—it seems to be working in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari—but I’d be interesting in hearing results for other browsers/OSes. As well as just general feedback on the usability/intuitiveness of the interface.

I assume this is a legit use of the Beta Testing topic in the Playing subforum, but I wanted to check because my intent was to just provide a link to the (github-hosted) page, instead of the standard practices of sending links people who request participation.

Yeah, that seems fine to me. The reason we discourage posting links publicly is because of IFComp’s requirements, but it’s not a forum rule.

Cool. That’s what I figured but also figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
