Fool’s gold!
Arrived hideously early to convocation, but in the meantime I did grab a seat.
The seat has been offered up to someone else- she’s an older lady with a mobility aid, and she thanked me profusely which was sweet but kind of awkward since I never know what to say.
That’s a WOW!
Awesome! Congratulations!
I looked like the world’s most randomized sim on the ride back which amused me. Changed out of the Madam X inspired dress and was left with the accessories on… which mean a bare faced, silver solitaire ring, fancy up do with floral clips, raggedy gaping neck panda tshirt, jorts, 400$ pearl necklace, and mary jane dress shoes outfit. Oh, and dangling crystal and silver earrings.
Congrats!
I got some grad presents. :3
Finally got to file my nails down, after growing them out for months in anticipation of grad. My fingers feel so light and speedy on the keys, and they were just touching on the length that is a bit painful to type with, so yippee!
So comfy cozy in bed… I had a really long day. I had fun getting dressed up all pretty, didn’t trip on the stage, and ate lots of yummy food. The ramen place we went to was delicious, and the kid devoured a whole bowl on his own in a shockingly short time. The gyoza and takoyaki were also super delicious… And I got a yummy blue raspberry lemonade! And had some tiramisu and a bit of a double chocolate cookie from the grad snacks table. :3
Among the loot is a My Melody totebag. The silver and moonstone earrings and dainty necklace are super cute, too, and the pretty light pink leather crossbody bag is adorable. A bit annoying to shove my phone in the main body, though the back compartment is handy, but it fits a slim A5 notebook from Muji, or perhaps one of the hardcover ones, so I’m content. And lots of zippy little pockets…
Day trip out on a coach today. Nice to make some new friends.
Here’s a funny parenting story. Food safety is a big topic in our house, because little boys left to their own devices create horrifying potions and sun baked oozing creations, and my kid has apparently really internalized these lessons, because he proudly told me about microwaving his lunchable meat because he thought it seemed raw. My silly baby (We have since cleared up said confusion, but it was adorably silly.)
I read that as “couch” the first time and was quite confused. Was envisioning something like this:
Alt text:
Woman on bicycle pulls mobile couch down a public street with cheering men all around.
Granted, you’d probably meet people and maybe make some friends doing that too. Glad you had a good time!
We had a son born today! Alaric John. (We pronounce it a-LAIR-ic.) Lilia Jacqueline is already a big sister!
This is my first child of 4 not born during the active(/feverish) development period of Prince Quisborne…
Congratulations!
Aw, congratulations! Welcome to the world, Alaric John! Hopefully mummy and baby are doing well, and how exciting for Lilia Jacqueline to be a big sister! You must be such a proud father!
Congrats! Alaric, I like the name…
Alaric John - a powerful name. He will be proud.
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Wonderful news!
