It doesn’t seem live yet, but I’ll check back again soon. Maybe Spotify needs a bit to propagate to Canada. Also, the YouTube video says the video is unavailable. Clearly it’s in a relationship at the moment, but I’m happy that it’s found someone and is committed to them.
Limblifter - Dopamine
Limblifter is a Canadian rock band. If you’re curious about their other songs:
@SomeOne2 Had a chance to take a boo at your song and it’s really good! Not too shabby there, kid. It even has two songs in one… so more bang for the buck!
I think you’d like Frank Black. When he did his thing outside The Pixies, he leaned more towards rock. Really liked his Cult of Ray album, but check out…
Frank Black - Two Reelers
If you guys ever do any covers, I’d love to hear the original and the cover.
I think a cover works best when you’re not trying to compete with the original. As cliche as it sounds, just make it your own. Don’t be afraid to take liberties and explore possibilities.
Nazareth - Love Hurts And now imagine millions of awkward teens slow dancing in gymnasiums.
Congratulations, Max! There’s a lot of great stuff on your album. I love rock music and I can appreciate a lot of different influences across the album. I’ll be coming back to it again.
I get a feeling that you might like Texas Is The Reason. It’s a shame they only had one full album, but it sure was a damn good one.
(Also, thanks to all of you who listened to Trinity! I was going to make an Off-Topic thread about it, considering it is actually looking at the different characters from the prologue - and some others from that world - of its namesake IF piece, Trinity; but I chickened out and just threw it here. So if you wanted to look at how the other characters from the prologue of the game reacted to the air raid sirens at the start, check it out!)
