Um… Worked for me last time I looked. Will investigate – thanks!
Metaparser looks interesting. As far as I can see it is solving the problem I am talking about. Will investigate that too! Thanks agin.

I’m crafting an interactive tale using Twine, featuring a visual interface that enables players to build actions by selecting subjects, verbs, and objects. The game’s diverse ensemble of characters, each with a unique role, allows for personalized action sequences for each one. I’ve introduced a clickable verb list, enhancing the gameplay with a seamless selection of actions, while the interface also highlights items in the inventory and those within the room. It’s a nostalgic nod to the beloved text parsers of the '80s, fused with a contemporary visual interface that enriches the action-building process. As the adventure unfolds, the map will progressively disclose various rooms and riddles, all conveniently displayed on a separate screen for easy navigation.
Hi.
I’m working on an 80’s style adventure for IF Comp. Parser-based. With insertion of images and sounds. I hope I can meet the deadlines.
