Twine Version: Harlowe
I want to make it where you only have a few seconds to pick then it picks an option for you is there a way
Harlowe has a macro called (live:) that I think you’ll want to use.
https://twine2.neocities.org/#macro_live
Essentially, it starts a countdown, when the page is displayed, that can then execute whatever is inside the macro. I believe a (live:) loops unless there is a (stop:) macro inside when it fires.
Here’s a very in depth tutorial about how to take advantage of the (live:) macro.

So yes, Harlowe can do what you’ve described.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
