Walkthrough for Infocom's Journey

I’ve been listening to the Eaten by a Grue podcast, where hosts Kay Savetz and Carrington Vanston have been playing through pretty much the entire library of Infocom adventures. Since neither of them managed to get through Journey: The Quest Begins - even with a walkthrough - I thought I’d try to write a new walkthrough myself. I figured I’d post a link to it here, in case anyone needs one:


I’m sure it could be improved; I’m not a native English speaker. But at least it should give a good idea of what to do and - more importantly - what to avoid to make sure that you won’t run out of magical essence. (Air in particular is in very short supply.)
