I need urgent help!! I’m new to twine and using the Harlowe 3.3.9 format by default
I heard its a good way to make a virtual gift, however I know nothing about programming or cs and I need to make the gift for my best friends birthday. I’m trying to make a meaningful game and I have written the story and passages however I don’t know how to run it. Everytime I click the test play option it says
“there is a problem with this story’s 1st script: reference error : tw is not defined”
I have no idea what that means I have only written the passage, I don’t know how to make this work and idk how to add images and music either, if someone could please help, my friend has moved abroad for uni and this gift is very imp to me
I’m no Twine expert, so I can’t say for sure what the problem is with the information provided here. It sounds like you might have a passage tagged without being defined?
Maybe using a template would help get you started? That’s how I started figuring things out. There’s lots of good ones available (like this one: 100% Good Twine Harlowe Templates by manonamora). Adding music and images is a bit of a skill level jump, but there are a lot of place to find guides. Youtube was helpful for me (Harlowe guide playlist)
