I’ve had the problem this last week that I need to remove cookies in order to log in to the site. Otherwise I get an “unknown error” when trying to log in. Does anyone else experience this issue or know what is wrong?
Does it work if you log in using an incognito window?
I’ve seen people raise issues like this at the Discourse support forum, and the usual culprit is a problematic browser plugin.
Yes, incognito mode works, as does clearing cookies. I don’t use many plugins, but I’ll disable them for the site and see if that helps. Thanks!

Disabling plugins didn’t help, but a browser update did the trick.
