When we migrated to Discourse we installed a plugin that would let you transfer your phpBB passwords to Discourse. This worked well, and I believe most users were able to easily log into Discourse. The plugin is a little less secure however, so I intend to disable it in one week. After that time anyone who has not yet logged in will have to do a password reset.
Note: this will only affect people who have never logged into the Discourse forum. If you’ve logged into the forum in the past two months your password has already been transferred to Discourse.
