I just came across a second game with a valuable treasure sitting on a pressure plate trap. Limerick Heist , Dr Ego and the Egg of Mantoomba.
Sage Sanctum Scramble and A Murder in Fairyland both feature word searches.
You can’t beat a good text addenture (sic)
Vain Empires has a card game
“Copyright of Silence” and “Vain Empires” both contain a reference to the John Cage piece 4’33". In Copyright of Silence it’s at the center of the game. In Vain Empire, a little harder to find.
Four games feature a triple alliteration (including three with s!) in their titles: Red Radish Robotics, Sage Sanctum Scramble, Saint Simon’s Saw, and Stand Up / Stay Silent.
It was more the random shuffle (I don’t strictly follow it but I do mostly take its suggestions) – the last two games I made it to as a judge during the comp period, in a row, were both 6-year-old-girl protagonists (Impossible Bottle and Little Girl in Monsterland).
