The Typo Game hints

For Dee Cooke’s The Typo Game, written for the Boogaloo bad games jam.

So I’ve gotten to the fifth area with the ten pound note. I don’t want to spoil too much, but the typos so far have been pretty simple so I don’t think we need to overthink.

How I got them: (adjacent key on keyboard, eliminate one letter, switch 2 letters, wrong vowel,) (I can spoil individual ones later)

I suspect the typo is different in each room. There are a lot of blind alleys – for instance, the fish is described as fressh so I tried fissh but no.

What I’ve tried so far for the ten pound note: LIO (1=I, 0=O, pound sign=L), spellings of money, spellings of pound

Oh you got past the fish! Can you let me know what that one is?

Sure!

It’s a different sort of typo than the ones before.

Those were semantically viable, but this is a genuine finger slip.

You need to GIVE FISG.

Thanks! Working on the note now; when you examine it the description says “five quid,” so I’m going to try some variations on that
