This segment’s contestants were nominated by the following people (in alphabetical order):

… along with three anonymous fans who submitted their candidates by PM. Among the contestants are a triple nominee, a double nominee and two single nominees.
These are going to be some hard-fought matches… the humor of “Augmented Fourth”, the atmosphere of “Sand-dancer”, the expansive space of “Never Gives Up Her Dead”, and Emily Short’s puzzler “Metamorphoses”… better settle in for a long battle!
I don’t have much to say about here matches. Metamorphoses is one of my favorite Emily Short games (along with City of Secrets). The other two games feel like opposites of each other in some ways to me, with Sand Dancer being a lot more serious (with light hearted moments for sure) and atmospheric (like Gregory said) and Augmented Fourth being more goofy and puzzle focused.
And since Brian was too humble to mention his own game, Never Gives Up Her Dead… I’ll say it is a masterful, massive, multi-dimensional, space puzzler… well loved… 5 stars on IFDB… and currently leading against Metamorphoses!
While doing some analysis on tournament stats, I discovered an error in my data entry that has affected the reporting of nominations of games by @simpsong00. He publicly nominated Never Gives Up Her Dead, but my spreadsheet had that marked as an anonymous nomination.
Past lists of nominators have been updated to correct this oversight – sorry about that, simpsong00. (And: good picks!)
