I’m playing Little Match Girl 5 now, and it’s been great. I’ve been playing it off and on for two-three weeks during lunch on my work computer.

I especially enjoy the door mechanic because it’s tricky and makes finding new areas fun.

I am stuck right now in the mermaid kingdom. I figured out how to distract eunoia with the kaleidoscope, but since I haven’t played in a couple of days I’ve lost track and I can’t seem to figure how to distract Eirene. I thought I could use the same trick as the other one but that seems intentionally ‘stuck’ with her, so I tried commissioning a carved merfolk figurine go show her but the game says I want to keep track of it.

It says she misses Nais, so if that person is a different species, I could try that instead. Any tips?

With your hint, I was able to complete the mermaid area. After that, I struggled a little, and decided to map everything. Once I did, I realized that I had already found everything, so I thought for a while and figured out another area. After that I realized the symmetry that was in the game, and I really enjoyed the feelings I got seeing the way things were resolved (especially in the Emi koussi area).

I felt satisfaction at having beaten the game. Then I realized that I hadn’t beaten at all! It was exciting to see what happened next. I’m still playing during my work lunches, but I look forward to spending more time in this world.

Just posting here that I finished the game. It took me quite a while! I loved the second half with its multiple PCs that had different powers, it reminded me of that old SNES game with three Vikings you have to switch between. The third phase took me by complete surprise but helped me understand the first phase much better.

@Mathbrush, I’ve never played it, but I think that might be Lost Vikings you’re thinking of.
