Let’s imagine that the Interactive Fiction Community Forum is having a barbecue/cookout and you must bring something. Only thing is, it must be something tangible so you can’t bring good vibes or funny jokes or something like that. It could be food, decorations, a speaker, whatever you want. It could also be something from an IF game, so theoretically you could bring like the emerald in the shape of a plover egg. Just no weapons allowed!
You can also bring in addition to this or instead of this someone. It could be your favourite IF NPC, a developer, your cat, your dad, anyone you want. You’re only allowed one plus one though.
I’ll start. I would bring Violet from Violet because I think that could be fun, and a massive cheeseboard because cheese is one of my favourite foods.
Wow, a lotta these… I think the only true answer is the narrator from Eat Me, because while she might put you over the grill at the end, at least you’ll know you had an incredible meal before that…
Since I have no clue how to scale up any of the dishes I know how to make to party portions, I’d probably do something boring like bring a few bags of doritos, a few cans of pringles, or a few jars of salsa/salsa con queso or a big bag of shredded fiesta blend cheese.
