Tarot card-based tools and games
Journey is a hard game, whew! I donât think I made almost any choices right. I got a bug on the Judgement passage saying it doesnât exist, by the way.
eta: same with âhelpâ
Not a bad tool if you sort of understand the meanings of the cards. It can do a simple yes/no or 3-card reading, however you basically are given the meaning of each individual card and so much of the introspection of Tarot is interpreting how the cards relate in sequence, which you need to do yourself.
There actually is a card battle game, though you do need two players. I do miss the cards having cool âflavor textâ which could be based on the card meaning. The suits are your âmanaâ, and in general royal cards are creatures and the Major Arcana seem to be enchantments, but I didnât go through everything.
Iâm completely reworking the journey.
Yes, I changed the battle mode quite a lot. The Major Arcana have 5 creatures, and the rest are enchantments or spells. I found out itâs possible to play online with a friend using Parsec to share the screen and mouse. Thatâs how I tested the game with a friend who knows both Magic and Tarot. I hadnât thought about adding flavor text.
