Testers needed for new BDB Project’s game: Eclipse. (Morgan Tyler series #1)

Good evening.

I am working on a new saga for the “BDB Project”. This time, we are dealing with a series of 5 games, all of them with a sci-fi setup. I plan to publish the first two back-to-back, since they are closely related, but, for now, I need testers for the first one of them, Eclipse.

This time, the protagonist is Morgan Tyler, a young space pilot who has to escape Planet Thalos to reach Earth and seek help in order to defeat a tyrant.

The game is fairly small, about the size of a typical Scott Adams game, and it has already undergone a couple of reviews. Should you accept the task, you will be provided with beta 3. It should take roughly an hour to play (and a bit longer to test). As usual, it is written in PunyInform, so you’ll need a Z-code interpreter. It doesn’t sport mazes, but a timer at the beginning of the game places it on medium difficulty.

I’m particularly looking for feedback on:

Does the story make sense within the context of the game?

Spelling and grammar errors. (The games are in American English, but UK English spelling should be accepted in commands.)

Are the puzzles well hinted, too easy or too hard?

Was there anything you tried that should have been accepted, but wasn’t.

Is all scenery implemented?

Bugs, of course.

Anything else you think of.

If you can help out with the game, please send me a personal message, and I’ll get it to you a.s.a.p.

The game also comes with a map and a walkthrough, in case you are stuck or you don’t have too much time to spare. The tentative release window is mid-June 2026.

Hello, everyone.

Although a couple of people already volunteered, I can still make good use of a few more testers. If you have some time to spare, please speak up.

Have a nice day!
