The game is about a time quest where you track down your opponents from a distant future to a distant past. In doing so you’ll visit real places even though the events are fictitious.
As in the title, the game is for TALJ, thus suitable for beginners to text adventures (or parser-based interactive fiction) and includes a tutorial, although the tutorial can be turned off.
The game was also meant as a tribute for movies, games and TV series of the past with a time travel theme, so the player will enjoy delving into the Easter-eggs I left around. It may feel large in scope, but the puzzles are fairly easy and (hopefully) well-hinted within the game. Expect to spend about two hours playing and an extra couple of hours to account for testing.
I am not a native English speaker, but the game already underwent some proofreading and betatesting, so it shouldn’t be that bad.
It’s a Z-code game written with PunyInform, so you’ll need a Z-code interpreter (online version in progress) The finished version will also be playable online from my itch.io site.
If you can help out, please send me a personal message and I’ll send you the z5 file.
