TADs 3 for Android

Hello. Is it possible to develop a TADs game for Android?

Generally, the .t3 games are platform agnostic, so long as an interpreter exists for that platform. According to the IFWIKI, there is an Android interpreter, though I have not personally played with it. The documentation also claims to have an Adroid editor/compiler development environment.

If you are asking about tailoring the graphical interface for Android phones or tablets, that might be tougher. TADS has limited capabilities to start with, and HTMLTADS is not noted as supported.

There is also the possibility of using Parchment to run an agnostic TADS game through an Android browser.

Thank you JJ McC. That really helps.

Luckily for us, Fabularium is not only an interpreter, but an IDE. That was really engenius, because now any masochist or thumb hater out there can tap away on a thousand line epic and still manage to submit it to IFComp before their thumbs fall off.
Also, yes, I do know that physical keyboards can be used with Android, but that mental image was so funny I couldn’t ignore it.
