Strengths of various forms of interactive storytelling

That’s really interesting! It makes sense - if it’s possible to compare a brain to a computer hard drive, when new there’s lots of space and there’s room to save everything. As it fills up, it might require being more selective about what to save and what to delete to make space for more experientially specific information.

Have you seen Disco Elysium?

It’s now available on PS4, and I’ve just started it this week; spent about 30 minutes so far.
Lots to say already. This is a hybrid interface, there’s both point and click, and choice-based dialogue. It seems to me so far that control-by-dialogue has the upper hand.

I have heard great things about Disco Elysium, but I’ve never tried it. I don’t own a console but I have used my brother-in-law’s prior to lockdown. Apparently my nephews are hooked on Fortnight at the moment!
