Every intent to enter on the Spring Thing website has been sent a response by the official spring thing email (except one intent entered this week).
Two people have reported not receiving confirmation emails, which means that the spring thing email is likely being classified as spam.
Please let me know if you submitted an intent to enter but have not received confirmation!
I haven’t gotten confirmation and it isn’t in my spam! IIRC I submitted very early to test that intents were working, though, so maybe that’s it?
I just found out one of the most embarrassing discoveries of my IF tenure. It looks like this entire year I’ve been responding to my bot that forwards me the intents instead of replying directly to individuals. ‘I feel this shame inside me like a knife,’ as they say.
I just sent out a BCC-d message to everyone who’s registered. I’d be interested to know if anyone receives it!
