How do I set conversation tables in the latest edition of Inform? I tried watching a tutorial, but it seems like it may be outdated. I just started writing interactive fiction, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I code mine like this:
instead of asking unassuming man about a topic listed in the Table of Faulkner Replies:
say "[reply entry][paragraph break]"

"Hemingway" "The sad southerner smiles and then scowls. 'He has no courage, has never crawled out on a limb. He has never been known to use a word that might cause the reader to check with a dictionary to see if it is properly used. How obviously autobiographical, right down to the nervous breakdown. Cheap trickster, fictional charlatain, such unbelievable verbal legerdemain.'"
A few rules regarding tables, which you already may know:
(1) You tab over between columns of responses
(2) No additional rows between entries
Writing with Inform has good documentation on this.
