Some QoL improvements on the ballot page

Thanks to @keltena’s hard work, we now have a couple of features that have been requested.

First, there’s now a checkbox to hide all the games that you’ve rated so far:

If you tick that checkbox, the only games that should be present on the ballot page are those you haven’t given a rating to yet.

Second, there’s now the ability to rate a game right from the ballot page! Rather than going to a separate vote page, you can just submit your rating right there.

Thank you @Keltena!

Because you guys need more work (ha) it’d be nice in the future if you could sort the ballot/votes by your ranking with unranked at the bottom, just so you can see how you’ve voted at a glance.

Thanks for the updates to the site!

Two very good features, thank you for these improvements!

If I may express as wish, it is that the ballot page would remain accessible even after the competition deadline has finished (without the voting possibility, of course, just in the same state it has now in the short timeframe between the voting deadline and the publishing of the results).

The reason is that in the last years I never was able to finish playing all the games before the deadline. But after the deadline I continue playing them and vote them “in private”, and I want to do so unprejudiced by the official voting results. So I don’t want to look at the results page before I finished all games. Hence my current modus operandi is to save the ballot page locally on my computer and use this copy after the deadline. But the links to the games don’t work any longer then, so I have to look up the games on IFDB while trying not to see the score the games got there …

I dont’ know if it is possible to just leave the ballot page and the games accessible, at least for some time?

The feedback has been passed along.

Currently, all the IFComp entries are listed here:

And each entry page include at least a link to the IFArchive, where you can download/play the game. We are currently in the process of updating the archived versions of games that were updated during the comp.
