It seems like the icons changed for everything. I don’t know if it’s just the theme (IntFiction) or Discourse in general. Regardless, I honestly don’t like it. The weights are all different, and they lack coherance in a way that the previous icons did.
Is there a way to change them back? Or change the icons generally? Or do I just have to deal with it until the graphic designers fix it?
There was apparently a site update today, as it went down for a half hour or more. The colors of my favored theme (Vincent) changed a bit so I changed themes. Also the behavior of a menu or two changed.
The only one that looks a bit different to me is the link icon. This was due to a forum software upgrade. There are some new interface elements on mobile.
Be aware you can choose color schemes separate from your theme - go to profile>preferences>interface and make sure you’re on the “Vincent Dark” color scheme. which should make it look the way it did before.
I’ve noticed that sometimes if you’ve set a color scheme and use the fast-theme switcher in the sidebar it will load the theme but not the associated color scheme and you need to do that manually from preferences>interface. Make sure you hit save at the bottom after making changes.
