I have accomplished one thing in this apparently very short game

turned the sign to get the shortcut

and now I have to accomplish another thing

get past the bull somehow

and I don’t know how to do that. Does anyone have a hint?

The logic behind the puzzle involves a terrible pun.

I guess I can also say that it helps to experiment with different actions before confronting the bull.

By the second thing, do you mean that you need to do something before starting the confrontation with the bull or just that finding out which verbs work helps?

I guess another thing to think about is the default Inform responses.

Particularly the ones from before 6L08 or so.

Yeah. I remember actually being a little irritated when I figured it out!

I had illustrations on, so I was like “What happened?” and then I saw the message and I was (as you saw) like “oh.”
