The Scribarchy beta-test is open.
Scribarchy is a multiplayer, text-based, online game. Players create characters and explore multiverses designed by other players, with the option to design their own. The game emphasizes creativity and collaboration, allowing players to write their own stories within shared worlds.
Full disclosure (e-mail required): This game requires individual user accounts. The AWS Cognito authentication system that Scribarchy uses requires an e-mail address to verify your account when your account is created. The e-mail address you provide will not be used for any other purpose, nor disclosed to anyone. Some people may feel more comfortable using an e-mail address created specifically for the game (ie a throwaway e-mail).
Full disclosure (AI): This game uses AI-generated images as thumbnails for certain game items (specifically, Multiverses, Persons, Places, and Things). Each thumbnail is 128x128 pixels in size. These thumbnails are generated using Amazon Bedrock model amazon.nova-canvas-v1. The game creates thumbnails in response to a player creating an item and the prompts themselves come from a player supplied name and description. No text in the game is created with AI; all text is generated by players for players.
