Review of Welcome to the Universe by Colton Olds:
I tried this game as I normally prefer parser type games, and I like to try things outside of my usual wheelhouse. This was a choice based twine made game. First I like the cover it is a cool looking illustration/drawing.
I like the games text presentation it reminds me of the old DOS game colors etc. I think the games point is one that someone could spend a lot of time on analyzing. I think the choices you get to make were tied into the meaning well.
I think the game is entertaining for what it is. I wonder what this title would be like if fledged into a type of full length parser, or adventure game of some kind. Not sure how that could be done, but it’d be interesting.
