Request for 2nd-round playtesters for medieval murder mystery

Hi, all!

I’ve been writing an Inform game set in a medieval monastery, where you play a young monk trying to investigate a mysterious death. I’ve had a really helpful first round of playtesters, so now I have a unit-tested and human-tested game that works. However, I’d love any help having an additional round of playtesters to try it to see if there are any missing-synonyms/had-to-guess-verbs/puzzle hints kind of fixes. People who aren’t IF experts or have never play tested before would be very welcome, since you can bring a valuable viewpoint.

The game includes a map (not just for testers; it’s an open map for players, too), as well as a full hint system and a walkthrough.

If you might be interested, send me a message and I’ll send a link.

Thanks!

How long is the game and what kind of time frame do you need feedback in?

About five people have completed the game. The shortest time was 2 hours, from a group effort of my local IF group (who play lots of the these games!). Others have taken 4+ hours, and have used some of the built-in hints.

Of course, any feedback is helpful — so even if you only have time for part of the game, I’d welcome it.

I’ve submitted my game to Spring Thing, so I need to send them the game by the end of the month. But even if that doesn’t fit your timeline, I’ll still welcome any testing.

Hi! I’ve been lurking on the site for a long time but just made an account for this and can’t figure out where to message. I’d love to playtest!
