Is it possible to quote only part of a post when using a screen reader? I’ve tried all sorts, including NVDA’s new native selection mode but with no luck.
You may wish to try highlighting the specific text of the partial quote using your keyboard and then hit Q (keyboard command for quote) and see if that works.

Thanks @HanonO, turns out all I was missing was q. As you can see it works if I use the native selection mode. That’s been bugging me for years.
