I’m having problems with figures, they work fine when testing, but don’t work in the release file. My material folder has two folders called Figures (containing the figures) and Release (containing everything else). I’m missing a step somewhere but not sure where.

What interpreter are you testing the released version in? The old version of Quixe bundled with I7 doesn’t display figures, it’s a known issue.
It’s when I try and play in browser.
That would be it then. Run the .ulx or .gblorb file in an offline interpreter and the images should show up.
This is, unfortunately, a known issue; if you want to embed the images in the online version, you have to do that outside of Inform.
