I will point out that the organizers were forthcoming about voting totals at a couple of points during the judging period.
If, in fact, thoughtauction’s games ended up with substantially more players rating them than other games, it must have been quite late in the process, as interest in them was low-to-middling up until the last few days. It certainly doesn’t seem as if there was a committed, engaged audience voting on them from the get-go.
