When I get a notification, the favicon gets badged with a a number:
But for a while now the favicon no longer resets after I dismiss the notification. To reset the icon I have to close the tab and reopen it which is a tad annoying. I’m pretty sure it used to work before.
I clicked a box which actually removed the number. Let me know if this is a preferable option. I had noticed it in Chrome also - the number doesn’t seem to update except between sessions. And I’ve done the same thing going “Oh, four new notific- oh, not really…”
