New stories on Qynari

Since launching Qynari last week I’ve been keeping an eye on the stories people have published. My own sister Daisy seems to be the most prolific non-qynari-team creator so far!!

She has made three public stories:

  1. A short free course on Designing Interactive Experiences.
  2. A humorous / educational experience about what it’s like to care for a child with PDA.
  3. An educational exploration of some historic mathematicians: Maths Tales (W.I.P.)

I’ve really enjoyed playing through all three (and implementing some tweaks and features she requested via the feedback button).

Nice to see a math game (or mathematicians game). I asked Sophia “How do the stars move?” And the text says I answered “Why was astronomy so important…?” Hmm.
But nice game notheless!

Yeah, that’s one issue with branching narratives that allow free-text input… the option still needs to exist to be matched. It’s early days, but I think creators will learn more about this - we should probably add an option to log and report things players typed that had low-confidence matches, so that authors/creators can add more branches.
