@Grim and I are proud to announce that a new version of our Spring Thing 2021 entry, Excalibur, is available to play on itch.io.
The new version is mobile compatible and includes some new content!
For those new to the game, Excalibur is a hypertext-based interactive fiction piece written and developed by J. J. Guest and G. C. Baccaris , with contributions from co-creator Duncan Bowsman and others.
The psychedelic science fantasy series Excalibur was wiped by the BBC. It lives on, in the memories of its fans.
“Welcome to the Excalibur Wiki. This fan-run encyclopedia preserves the details of an obscure science fantasy television series from the 1970s. Though much of its footage was lost, a group of dedicated fans still have strong memories of the show — as well as unique theories, occasional arguments, and lingering questions.”
