Hello, all:

I got a new computer, downloaded Inform 7 (10), in the middle of installing and checking files. The game I am writing compiles but nothing appears in the story window. It also won’t complete a release with testing, saying there’s a problem.

Are there apps that interfere with Inform? I already found that McAfee needed to go. Anything else you guys can think of?

did you try refreshing page maybe it will work

It looks like an anti-virus false positive issue. Maybe McAfee or a built-in Windows Security feature already quarantined one of the internally used interpreter files. Cf. here:
