NarraScope 2020

Announcing NarraScope 2020!

The second iteration of our narrative games conference will be May 29th to the 31st, at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL. This is Judith Pintar’s home base; thanks to her and Alexis Kim for setting up the details.

We’re also announcing our new podcast, Through The NarraScope. A group of committee members will be looking back on some of the 2019 panels. We’ll also use the podcast to release audio recordings of some of the panels that are not available as video.

(Video recordings of selected NarraScope 2019 panels are linked from https://2019.narrascope.org/pages/schedule.html .)

The call for proposals is now posted.

And we have a keynote speaker!

Xalavier Nelson Jr. might have first come to your attention for his entry SCREW YOU, BEAR DAD! in IFComp 2016. More recently he was a narrative designer and writer on Hypnospace Outlaw, which got a bunch of award nominations last year.

Now he shall grace our little get-together in Illinois. Hope to see you there.
