The Alderman is the likely target for Sharpee’s reference game implementation. It’s a Clue-like mystery with replay ability based on randomizing the murderer, the location, and the weapon. Unlike Clue, the PC is the sole detective and must track conversations, activities, and relationships to determine the solution.

I’ve added an enormous amount of NPC capability including personality traits that can be defined for any kind of systemic behavior. I’ve also implemented NPC capability that allows them to converse when the PC is not present, for hiding, eavesdropping, sound through walls, and more.

I don’t need a collaborator, but it would be nice. No one needs to learn Sharpee coding, but will learn how things are constructed in Sharpee.

After a discussion with my 24yo writer/daughter, the design will be amended away from the Clue paradigm. It may still have a randomized murderer, but instead of 216 outcomes, it will have a few with good storytelling.

(she was brutal and tore me down for not being original, even for a reference story)
