Most Ambitious Twine Game You've Ever Played

Probably be a good idea to mention some of the Combinatorial Explosion Twine games on this thread, since that problem often leads to a large scope and a lot of work on the author’s part. Two of my favorites that fall into this category are:

Magical Makeover: https://ifdb.tads.org/viewgame?id=es0sfij74uu4barv
Animalia: https://ifdb.tads.org/viewgame?id=vp5xvfqvycyz2q3r

It’s a coincidence for me that you just posted this game. I stumbled upon Tom McHenry just a day or two prior, and added him as an author to investigate soon. I will take a look at Horse Master today since it is already in my to do list. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cool! He really nails a sense of dread and beauty in this one.

I’m pretty fond of the game Lux https://ifdb.org/viewgame?id=rg7sieqyg1b9rxpt

It’s one of the first Twine games I played that had significant mapping and inventory systems.

Interesting no one mentioned seedship so far. I’ve put a disturbing amount of hours into that one. Well, during commuting times, that is.
