Okay, merge this into another topic if it was already asked or delete it if it was explained, but what is this and what is it for
This is a Discourse update. Any forum that has “mark as solution” enabled now also has a “me too” button for users to reply to signify they are experiencing the same issue.
It’s a little less useful here due to the wide range of software used for IF.
If it enrages people I’ll go searching to see if there’s a way to turn it off. That might require disabling the “mark as solution” option.
Is intended to be an “I concur/agree with the OP, have the same problem/issue”, but honestly, I slightly dislike the button’s wording because coincides with a stereotype about Italians, allegedly quick to join bandwagons.
Is possible to change the wording ? perhaps “same here” ?

With all due respect, what?
what what ?
I assume that you ask “what is this stereotype ?”, so this is my answer on this assumption, feel free to correct if is a wrong assumption:
As you known, I’m a military/Naval historian, and often Italy has joined other country’s initiatives (not only military) for real or perceived potential of prestige and standing (the tendency is not limited to int’l politics, though.

Still clueless. I can’t imagine Discourse would enable this sort of feature with wording that specifically denigrated an entire country or branch of the military.
hence the “slight” (in the sense of mild, light) dislike; It’s a stereotype found only in military/diplomatic historiography, not a common one.
but we’re veering heavily toward the shores of OTland: let’s continue either in PM or chat…
Best regards from Italy,
dott. Piergiorgio.
I have located the setting that disables the “me too” button. Never again shall this scourge ravage our humble community!
