Hello, normally a lurker on this forum - but today I’m looking for someone who’s willing to brave yet another interactive story.
The setting of the story is a DnD mini-campaign where you join a Dungeon Master who guides you through a world he created. It details your character joining in on the exploration of a giant labyrinth in an ancient mountain, deep in the desert. The premise is basically to figure out a way to get through the labyrinth unscathed.
There will be an initial intro screen where you can choose a default hero or roll your own character to play through it. The intro screen also has tabs for an about page, details, and reviews.
Then, once you play the story, there will be a short intro disguised with images and text - until your character is inserted into an interactive dungeon. Inside the dungeon you can click around to move and interact with several objects, engage in combat, roll dice against opponents, etc..
Info
- The story is played online on a website. Mobile, desktop, etc, should be fine.
- No account is needed for either creation of your character or to read through the story.
- Takes within or less than an hour to go through.
- No ai was used for the text or dungeon creation, however, ai did create the mountain image and the Dungeon Master image in the intro of the story.
- No monetary insertions, this is all free.
- Inside the dungeon - If you die in combat - click the ‘restart campaign’ which will teleport you back to where you died.
Feedback
- I’d like to know if the UI and UX is manageable or confusing
- Are you able to utilize your inventory and empower your character with the gear you find?
- If you’re a magic user, are you able to insert your spells in the spellbook
- If your character levels up, are you able to figure out how to do so?
- In combat, are you able to use your character’s bonus actions or magical abilities? (if your character has magic)
- Is the story interesting, bad, good? What could one do to enhance it further within its genre-universe.
- What’s your general opinion, regardless of how long you played.
Thanks to anyone who’s interested!
