Looking for feedback on my Witcher like fantasy text-based game

Title: Looking for feedback on my dark fantasy text-based game

Hi everyone,

I’m currently developing a dark fantasy text-based game and wanted to share it here in case it sounds like something this community might enjoy.

The game is set in a grim fantasy world filled with cursed places, ancient mysteries, forgotten dead, witches, ruins, and tragic figures. I’m aiming for something atmospheric, story-driven, and rich in exploration and unsettling fantasy.

In terms of inspiration, I’d describe it as a text-based blend of Monkey Island, The Witcher, Tomb Raider, and Diablo.

So it combines:

  • exploration and puzzle-like discovery

  • dark fantasy storytelling

  • dangerous enemies and combat

  • ancient places, hidden paths, and buried secrets

  • a world built around legends, curses, and forgotten truths

For anyone wondering: yes, I’ve used AI as part of the development process, just like I use other tools to help build the game.

Thanks for reading — I’d be very happy to hear what people think.

No surprises, you need to register.

I think either give a lot more info on the main page or have at least a small playable sample before registering.

You can “register” with any string, it doesn’t validate email addresses. But the whole project looks like it was entirely made by AI.

Hello, yes, I have used AI, as I mentioned in my post. I am unable to paste any links, but there is a project on Itch, and there is also a trailer on YouTube. Some people like it, and some do not. It is still an alpha version. the link to the itch page is: last-one[.]itch[.]io/the-last-one
