Iplayif.com update and lost saves?

I’m a few hours into a playthrough of Lydia’s Heart using the “play online” link from the IFDB page (Lydia's Heart - Details). I’ve played over several sessions and everything has been fine so far (although I noticed that when restoring, I was also offered saves from the other games I’ve played on the same site, which doesn’t usually happen - not sure what’s up with that).

It looks like there has been an update to Parchment in the last couple of days and now when I go to restore my save, I get a totally different file-selection interface with none of my old saves anywhere to be seen. Is there a way to get hold of them somehow?

If you go up a folder then all the old saves should be there.

The old system stored a game ID code but not the name of the game so it wasn’t really possible to put them into folders. So I just moved them into the top level.

Ah, I didn’t realise that “my files” was a clickable link (or that the long encoded URL after it was a folder name within in). Problem solved!

Oh, yeah it’s not extracting the filename properly for Unboxer URLs. Oops!

@Dannii With the latest(?) update, the browser no longer auto-saves the current state and restores it when I refresh the page.

Is this an intentional change?

It was judged an acceptable sacrifice for the time being. I’ll be working on adding back autosaves this year.

The changes were previously discussed here in the testing topic:
